What it is
The entry point. A 1.1 mm soft-touch shell in ice white, with a dimpled patch under the palm where the contact pressure actually is. Start here if you have never used grips and do not want the feel of your controller to change.

Fitting
- Wipe the handles clean and let them dry — skin oil is why grips work loose.
- Hook the lower lip over the base of the handle first.
- Roll the shell upward with your thumbs, keeping the edge seated.
- Check the USB-C port, both triggers and the headphone jack are clear.
Compatibility
Moulded per controller, not a universal sleeve. Choosing the wrong mould means it will not seat — our 60-day return window covers that mistake.

You cannot tell they are on, which is the point
I did not want my controller to feel different, I just wanted it to stop being slippery. These are 0.9 mm so the shape is basically unchanged, and the white matches the stock DualSense white closely enough that people do not notice them.

Not enough grip to be worth it for me
Fits perfectly and looks fine but the matte surface does very little once my hands warm up. If your problem is actual sweat, this is not the product — spend the extra and get a textured one. I should have read the grip rating more carefully.

For sweat specifically, Dark Matter is the one — the open cells are the only texture we make that actively moves moisture. We have sent you a discount to cover the difference if you want to switch.

How much bigger will my controller feel?
+1.1 mm per handle on each handle, and 10 g per pair in total. If you have small hands or thousands of hours of muscle memory on a bare controller, start with Matte Essential at +0.9 mm.
Will it come off and leave marks on my controller?
No. There is no adhesive anywhere in the product — it is a friction fit, held by the shape of the mould. You can remove and refit it as often as you like. If a grip does work loose, it is almost always skin oil on the controller rather than a fault: clean both surfaces with warm water and washing-up liquid, dry completely, and refit.
Does it block the USB-C port, triggers or the headphone jack?
No. Each shell is cut around the port, the triggers, the headphone jack and — on the DualSense Edge and Elite Series 2 — the rear module, so you can still swap stick modules and paddles with the grips fitted.
Can I put it in the dishwasher?
The UV-coated TPU shells are dishwasher safe on a normal cycle, top rack. Silicone thumb grips and rings are as well. Warm water and washing-up liquid with a brush is faster and does the same job.
